In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) and clause (h) of sub-Sec. (1) and sub Sec. (3) of Sec. 380, clause (a) of sub-Sec. (1) and sub-Sec. (3) of Sec. 381, Sec. 385 , clause (a) of Sec. 386, Sec. 389 and Sec. 390, read with Sec. 469 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Registration of Foreign Companies)

Rules, 2014 namely: -

1. Short title and commencement- (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Registration of Foreign Companies) Amendment Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force with effect from 23rd January, 2023.

2. In the Companies (Registration of Foreign Companies) Rules, 2014 (a) in sub-rule 2 of rule 3, for clause (c), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-

(b) in the Annexure, for the FORM FC-1, FORM FC-2, FORM FC-3 and FORM FC-4, the following shall be substituted, namely: -
